Over the air television, also known as OTA TV, is a way to watch TV for free using an antenna that receives signals from local TV stations. This means you can watch your favorite TV shows and channels without paying for cable or satellite TV.
For older generations who are not familiar with streaming services like Amazon Prime and Disney Plus, OTA TV is a great alternative to expensive cable TV packages. With an OTA antenna, you can access local channels like ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS, and more.
To make OTA TV even more convenient, there is a device called Tablo. Tablo is an OTA DVR box that allows you to record and pause live TV, just like a traditional DVR. With Tablo, you can watch and record your favorite shows and movies for free, without having to pay for a cable subscription.
Tablo connects to your OTA antenna and to your home Wi-Fi network, allowing you to watch your favorite shows on your TV, computer, tablet, or phone. You can also schedule recordings, set series recordings, and watch live TV remotely, all through the Tablo app.
Overall, OTA TV and devices like Tablo are great options for those who want to watch TV for free and without the hassle of a cable subscription. It is easy to use and provides access to many popular TV channels.
